The strong smell of fried food permeated the building, making it unpleasant to go through the hallways!!! Limited luggage storage lockers and the need to request hairdryers from unfriendly staff made the stay less enjoyable!!!

Hostal Marlasca had a vibrant atmosphere. The room was clean, cozy, and surprisingly spacious for a hostel. I loved having a balcony that overlooked the bustling street below, perfect for people-watching. Every day, the cleaning staff made sure everything was tidy, which added to the overall comfort. However, the noise from nearby restaurants and bars made it tough to get to sleep early. Also, we encountered a sewage odor from the bathroom that lingered for a bit. The staff were receptive and tried to resolve it, but it returned on the last day. Location-wise, it was fantastic, allowing us to walk everywhere without relying on the metro.

I had a nice 1-night stay in a single room where I loved the comfy bed and enjoyed the refreshing air conditioning to escape the summer heat. Relaxing on the lovely balcony in the evening was a highlight, and I appreciated having lockers for my things before check-in.
